COPA-COGECA AND CELCAA DEBATE HOW TRADE WORKS FOR AGRICULTURE AT THE 2015 WTO PUBLIC FORUM
Copa-Cogeca and CELCAA will host a workshop on 2nd October during the WTO public forum to discuss how trade works for agriculture. The workshop will include speakers from a range of agricultural sectors accross Europe and Africa. It will focus on the role of trade and fair rules as an efficient tool to promote productivity, growth and jobs in agriculture in Europe and elsewhere.
Speakers will include Mr Schulz-Greve, Head of Unit responsible for analysis of trade and international policies at DG AGRI and Rural Development; Mr. Ogang President of Ugandan Farmers’ Organisation; Mr. Raymond, Dairy Farmer and Chair of Copa-Cogeca Milk working group; Mr. Recarte, Secretary General of the European Committee of Wine Enterprises.
The session will take place on 2nd October 2015, from 9:30 to 10:30 in Room W. It will be chaired by Cédric Pène, from the Agricultural and Commodities Division of the WTO Secretariat.
