Copa-Cogeca, FoodDrinkEurope and CELCAA welcome last week’s decision by the Member States to continue the negotiations of the Free Trade Agreement with Japan. The EU agri-food chain partners are pleased that the negotiations have received the go-ahead. They are certain that this Agreement will have a significant positive impact on both our economies by further opening markets and improving regulatory coherence. The next round of negotiations will be held in Tokyo from 7 – 11 July 2014.
