CELCAA organised a round table on 21st April 2015 at the European Parliament, hosted by MEP Schaake, ALDE coordinator at INTA, on the contribution of trade to the EU agricultural sector. The round table featured the intervention of Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan; of Cabinet Deputy Head of Commissioner for Trade Miguel Ceballos Baron; of Stefan Vogel from Rabobank and representatives of the trade in wine and trade in the meat and grain sectors. The event was moderated by Ed Bray, journalist at AgraFacts and was attended by more than 80 participants, from the European Parliament, Commission, Member States Permanent Representations, third countries’ missions and stakeholders from the farm to the industry sector.
